Alfred Boivin commence en 1947 et ce, de fa\u00e7on bien modeste. C&rsquo;est cette ann\u00e9e-l\u00e0 que M. Alfred Boivin fait l&rsquo;acquision d&rsquo;un tout premier camion, un Ford usag\u00e9, qui lui sert \u00e0 transporter divers mat\u00e9riaux pour les cultivateurs de son entourage. \u00c0 peine deux ans plus tard, il parvient \u00e0 faire l&rsquo;achat d&rsquo;un autre camion; un neuf cette fois-ci. Ce dernier travaille sans rel\u00e2che pour le transport de sable et de gravier en \u00e9t\u00e9 puis pour le transport de bois en hiver.<\/p>\n<p>Au fil des ans, l&rsquo;entrepreneur ach\u00e8te divers \u00e9quipements lourds afin d&rsquo;\u00eatre en mesure d&rsquo;effectuer des travaux de plus en plus vari\u00e9s. D&rsquo;autres camions, un chargeur ainsi qu&rsquo;un bouteur joindront donc les rangs des avoirs de M. Alfred Boivin incorpore officiellement son entreprise; Les Entrerpises Alfred Boivin Inc sont n\u00e9es et l&rsquo;affaire en est devenue une de famille. En effet, plusieurs des enfants de M. Boivin et de son \u00e9pouse, Mme Th\u00e9r\u00e8se Lavoie, viennent pr\u00eater main forte \u00e0 leur p\u00e8re au sein de la compagnie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La fin des ann\u00e9es 1980 marque un tournant important pour ce qui allait devenir bient\u00f4t le Groupe Alfred Boivin. En 1987, les entreprises Transport Boivin Inc et Dynamitage Forage Boivin Inc sont cr\u00e9\u00e9es. Elles sont suivies en 1990 par Domaine Saguenay puis en 2001 par Innovation Industrielle Boivin. Dans les d\u00e9cennies 1960, 1970 et 1980, plusieurs des enfants de M. Boivin mettent la main \u00e0 la p\u00e2te au sein de l&rsquo;entreprise. La fratrie parvient \u00e0 mettre en place un groupe solide, diversifi\u00e9 et \u00e0 la hauteur de tous les d\u00e9fis qui leurs sont lanc\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En 2006, R\u00e9jean, Ga\u00e9tan et Guy deviennent les trois propri\u00e9taires du groupe. Ensemble, ils travaillent sans rel\u00e2che afin de poursuivre la mission de leur p\u00e8re. Puis, en 2015, d&rsquo;autres entreprises du consortium sont partag\u00e9es entre les trois fr\u00e8res. R\u00e9jean ainsi que ses enfants St\u00e9phane, Dany et Isabelle prennent alors les rennes du groupe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">C&rsquo;est donc une troisi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration qui s&rsquo;installe \u00e0 la t\u00eate des filiales Boivin.
